Case Study MOLD & MILDEW

Mold and Mildew Removal

Mold & Mildew Case Studies mold

A client called the Black Label office after seeing what appeared to be mold growth in their bathroom vanity. They were concerned about the health risks that they had heard about with the possibility of mold in their home. The front office dispatched with project manager for an on-site inspection of the possibly infected areas. When he arrived at the home he was shown to the bathroom and confirmed by an on-site swab test that mold was present in the affected areas. The project manager reassured the clients that he would be able to get them an estimate as soon as possible so they could decide on further action. The client received the estimate by the end of that day and approved the work to be done. The next day Black Label started the remediation of the mold in the client’s home.

The first steps taken were to create containment and set air scrubbers in the room affected. The mold affected areas were removed and additional areas within the bathroom were cleaned to guarantee no mold spores were left behind. Post remediation testing results confirmed the air quality of the home was now healthy. After this confirmation rebuild of the bathroom began and a new vanity was installed with the property returning to its pre-mold condition within a week.
